This project is organized in collaboration with the gallery of Hitomi Nagamatsu, a key figure in Kyoto and creator of the art project "My Kyoto Records" for 2017 Kyoto International Film and Art Festival. Michiho Fukumori, who in 2015 became the 8th head of Doraku Gama, a clay pot kiln in Iga that dates back seven generations, is the fourth daughter of the ceramic artist Masatake Fukumori. Her father Masatake was praised as "the new tea master" by the essayist Masako Shirasu. She was brought up in a unique environment surrounded by connoisseurs of cooking, flowers, and old pottery. Aside from being the head of Doraku Gama, she has an exciting future ahead as a ceramic artist. Like her father, she is also an excellent cook and has written five books on cooking with clay pots.
