KYOTO INTERNATIONAL FILM AND ART FESTIVAL

Goro Haji is a day laborer living in Nishinari, Osaka. He is a strong man and is trusted by everyone, but he is also known as "Goro the Murderer" because he was imprisoned for murder in the past. He has lost bits and pieces of his memory, but he gradually regains his memory of being a former agent of the government's intelligence agency, and of having a wife and daughter. One day, Goro learned about his family's current situation and decided to do something about it. He decides to do whatever it takes to earn 400 million yen for his only daughter, who is suffering from an incurable disease.
This money and crime thriller features the life of a man desperately trying to make a lot of money, based on the dark world of modern society and the power of human emotion.
