How did Indonesia, home to the world's largest Muslim population, respond to terrorism in the name of Islam? The 2002 Bali bombings, which occurred during the global "war on terror" after 9/11, are portrayed from four perspectives: that of the planners, the perpetrators, local people, and news reporters. The film explores ways of avoiding a cycle of resentment.
